Getting Started
Yes — the Explorer plan is completely free, forever. No credit card required. You get rotating flashcards, sample MCQs from every topic, OSCE station previews, and all six pharma calculators. Enough to see whether PharmDecks works for you.
Head to our pricing page and click "Get Started Free" under the Explorer plan. You'll create an account with your email address and be inside the dashboard within 30 seconds. No payment details needed for the free plan.
The Explorer plan includes: 10 rotating flashcards, 5 MCQ questions per topic, OSCE station list previews, all 6 pharma calculators (BMI, creatinine clearance, IV infusion, dose, ideal body weight, dilution), daily challenges with XP, the leaderboard, and the exam calendar. You don't get the full question bank, full flashcard library, OSCE simulator, Oriel practice, numeracy drills, study notes, AI insights, or progress tracking — those require Clinical or Exam Surge.
Yes. All questions answered, flashcard mastery, streaks, and XP earned on the free plan carry over when you upgrade to Clinical. For Exam Surge, progress from a previous Surge pass does not carry over to a new one.
Plans & Pricing
Clinical is an annual subscription at £89.99/year (£7.50/month) — designed for building knowledge across the academic year. Exam Surge is a one-time 90-day pass at £49.99 with the same full access — ideal for intensive revision before exams. Both include every feature: full MCQ bank, OSCE simulator, flashcards, Oriel practice, numeracy drills, study notes, AI insights, and progress tracking.
Clinical is annual — cancel anytime and keep access until your billing period ends. Exam Surge is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no auto-renewal. It simply expires after 90 days.
No. All prices shown include VAT. The Explorer plan is free forever. Clinical is £89.99/year, billed annually. Exam Surge is a one-time payment of £49.99. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges, and no features locked behind additional tiers.
Yes — identical feature access. The only differences are billing structure (annual subscription vs one-time 90-day pass) and whether progress carries over on renewal (it does for Clinical, not for Exam Surge).
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through our secure Stripe payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and PCI compliant.
Content & Curriculum
All UK MPharm programmes follow the GPhC accreditation standards, so the core knowledge is shared across universities. PharmDecks content is mapped to the GPhC competency framework and the BNF. We currently have 27 study modules covering topics from applied prescribing clinics to clinical decision-making toolkits, relevant regardless of which university you attend.
The MCQ bank currently contains 500+ single best answer questions across pharmacology, therapeutics, law, ethics, and clinical practice. Questions are tagged by topic, year level (1–4), and difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard). New questions are added regularly throughout the academic year.
We add new questions, OSCE stations, and study modules throughout the academic year. Content is reviewed quarterly to ensure alignment with the latest BNF and NICE guidelines. When guidelines change, affected content is updated within the next review cycle.
Yes. Questions and study notes are referenced to the British National Formulary and relevant NICE clinical guidelines where applicable. This means you're revising from the same evidence base your exams use.
Platform Features
Choose from 65 stations across categories like neurology, cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, gastro, clinical skills, and communication. The AI plays the patient — you respond as you would in a real OSCE. Choose Practice mode for untimed learning or Timed mode for exam conditions. You can filter stations by category, condition, and duration (5, 10, or 15 minutes).
AI Insights analyses your performance across all activities — questions, flashcards, notes quizzes, and numeracy drills — then generates a personalised performance summary, identifies areas to improve, and recommends specific actions with topic tags and time estimates. Hit Refresh anytime to get updated insights based on your latest activity.
Every time you open the dashboard, an AI-generated study plan is waiting. It creates a prioritised checklist based on your performance data — what you've practised, where you're weak, and what's coming up. Each task has a priority tag (High, Medium, Low), a time estimate, and a direct link to start. No deciding what to study — just follow the plan.
After reviewing each flashcard, you rate how well you knew the answer. Cards you find difficult appear again sooner. Cards you know well are spaced further apart. Over time, the system builds a model of what you know and what you're forgetting, so you spend your time on the material that actually needs reinforcement — not re-reviewing things you already know.
Oriel Practice prepares you for the Clinical Trainee Pharmacist application. It includes a Numeracy section (10 pharmaceutical calculations, 20 minutes, calculator provided) and a Situational Judgement Test with two parts: Part 1 is ranking 5 actions from most to least appropriate (20 scenarios, 70 minutes), Part 2 is choosing the 3 most appropriate actions from 8 options (15 scenarios, 70 minutes). The format mirrors the real Oriel exam exactly.
Yes. The dashboard is fully responsive and works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone. Access it through your mobile browser at dashboard.pharmdecks.com. No app download required.
