Applied Therapeutics 2 — Year 3 MPharm, University of Hertfordshire. Advanced drug delivery systems, inhaled therapeutics, dermatology, oncology, pharmacogenomics and clinical pharmacokinetics. Aligned to current UK clinical guidelines (NICE, BTS/SIGN, MHRA).

What Will You Learn?

  • Apply advanced drug delivery principles to formulation and clinical decisions.
  • Select and counsel patients on appropriate inhaler devices.
  • Apply NICE, BTS/SIGN and MHRA guidelines in dermatology, oncology and emergency management.
  • Interpret pharmacogenomic results and apply to prescribing decisions.
  • Perform TDM calculations for narrow therapeutic index drugs.
